In Gambsheim, a villa of around 180 m² with clean lines, arranged around its terrace and pool.
The house is made of simple flat-roofed volumes that interlock to create sheltered spaces. On the garden side, a wide canopy extends the living room into an outdoor room facing the pool. On the street side, the garage and a slatted gate protect the family’s privacy.
The materials are few and warm: pale render, beige brick and vertical timber slats that give rhythm to the facades and frame the large windows.
Inside, the living room opens wide to the outdoors. The timber staircase, set above an indoor garden, becomes the centrepiece of the entrance. Right through to the bathroom, light and soft tones carry the same atmosphere.
